Drinking water fountains near me

Many outdoor fountains are turned off in winter. The Fontavio app shows the season where it is known and marks a fountain closed until spring, so it does not send you to a dry tap. People confirm the taps that still work and report the ones that do not.
Frequently asked questions
Is the water safe to drink?
Fontavio does not test water. A place is marked as drinking water when open data or other people say so, and water that is not for drinking is labelled that way.
Do the fountains cost anything?
Almost all public drinking fountains are free. Where a refill costs something, the result says so.
Why is a fountain I know about missing?
This page searches 5 km around you. If a fountain is missing, you can add it in the app, and anyone can report one that has stopped working.
