Add a place we are missing
Does this page cover all of Tallinn?

It covers every category Fontavio has enough mapped places for in Tallinn today. A category appears here once enough places in it have been added and confirmed, so a missing one means thin coverage rather than nothing on the ground.

What if a place has moved or is gone?

Report it from the app. A person reviews it, and water-safety reports are looked at first.

Is the tap water safe to drink in Estonia?

Yes, if you're on a public water system. In 2025 the Health Board found that 99.43% of people on public systems got water with no breach of the quality rules, and WHO and UNICEF put the national share with safely managed drinking water at 98.9% for 2024. Is the water from a public tap or fountain the same as the tap water in Estonia?

Not necessarily. In the countryside, a tap at a farm, a summer house or a small campsite may be on a private well that nobody officially monitors. In town, how well a public tap and its pipes are kept matters as much as the supply. Check for a sign and let the water run before drinking. When you find a tap you trust, add it to Fontavio or review it, and say whether it's in town or out in the country.
