Is the water from a public tap or fountain the same as the tap water in Lithuania?
Not necessarily. Water that has been sitting in old pipes can come out rusty for a moment, especially where the groundwater is high in iron. In villages, a pump may draw on a private well with no treatment at all. Let the tap run until the water is clear, and check the spout. When you find a good one, add it to Fontavio or review it and say how the water looked.
