Add a place we are missingDoes this page cover all of Deva?
It covers every category Fontavio has enough mapped places for in Deva today. A category appears here once enough places in it have been added and confirmed, so a missing one means thin coverage rather than nothing on the ground.
What if a place has moved or is gone?
Report it from the app. A person reviews it, and water-safety reports are looked at first.
Is the tap water safe to drink in Romania?
In the cities, generally yes; in the countryside, much less reliably. WHO and UNICEF put safely managed drinking water in Romania at 82.2% for 2024: 95.0% in towns and cities and 66.7% in rural areas. Figures, sources and the dates they were checked: https://fontavio.com/romania/tap-water/
Is the water from a public tap or fountain the same as the tap water in Romania?
Not necessarily. Village wells and roadside springs are separate from the treated supply. In cities, the pipes in older apartment blocks can affect the water that comes out of the tap. Look at the water and the spout before you drink. When you find a good tap or fountain, add it to Fontavio or review it; in rural areas there's often little other information to go on.
