Add a place we are missing
Does this page cover all of Ljubljana?

It covers every category Fontavio has enough mapped places for in Ljubljana today. A category appears here once enough places in it have been added and confirmed, so a missing one means thin coverage rather than nothing on the ground.

What if a place has moved or is gone?

Report it from the app. A person reviews it, and water-safety reports are looked at first.

Is the tap water safe to drink in Slovenia?

Yes, on the larger supplies. WHO and UNICEF put safely managed drinking water in Slovenia at 99.6% for 2024, and the national public health institute found water generally compliant in every supply area serving more than 500 people, which covers 87.7% of the population. Figures, sources and the dates they were checked: https://fontavio.com/slovenia/tap-water/

Is the water from a public tap or fountain the same as the tap water in Slovenia?

Not necessarily. A village fountain in the hills may be on one of the small systems the institute worries about most, and those are less likely to be treated than a tap in town. Look for a sign and check the water. When you add or review a tap on Fontavio, say whether it's in a town or a village; it helps walkers in the Julian Alps and the Karst judge it.
